About: Hudson Assessments
Hudson apply data-driven and best practice talent profiling and assessment techniques to reduce hiring risk, improve quality of hire and take unconscious bias out of hiring decisions.
Who are Hudson?
Hudson is another commonly used psychometric test provider. They have created the Hudson Reasoning Ability Tests and the Business Attitudes Questionnaire. Below we take a look at both of them in a bit more detail.
Hudson Test Format
Hudson Reasoning Ability Tests
These tests cover three areas at four different levels. The three areas include numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning. The levels include operational roles, junior managers, middle and senior managers. Together, the tests provide an insight into the following skills:
- Speed and accuracy
- Spatial insight
- Analytical insight
- Ability to plan
- Technical insight
Hudson Numerical Reasoning Tests
The Hudson Numerical reasoning tests assess your ability to deal with numbers quickly and accurately. These tests contain questions that assess your knowledge of ratios, percentages, number sequences, data interpretation, financial analysis and currency conversion.
Hudson Verbal Reasoning Tests
The Hudson Verbal reasoning tests assess your understanding and comprehension skills. You will be presented with a short passage of text which you’ll be required to interpret before answering questions on. These are typically in the ‘True, False, Cannot Say’ multiple choice format, although there are a range of alternatives too.
Hudson Abstract Reasoning Tests
The Hudson Diagrammatic tests use shapes, patterns and figures, rather than numbers and words. They assess your ability to think logically and solve complex problems.
